The Canteloup is a beautiful typical powerful Médoc with velvety tannins. Beautiful red fruit and sous bois. A small accent of vanilla due to the 16 month aging in oak barrels.
We have combined this with a classic from Bourgogne de Macon Bussiere. Aromas of butter, citrus, almond and lime blossom. In the mouth we find a nice acidity that is supported by a nice fatness due to the aging in wooden barrels. A light bitterness in the aftertaste.
